About the Role
Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation is seeking a dynamic Physical Therapist (PT) for a split position between their Steiner Ranch and North Austin clinics. This role focuses on providing physical therapy services for a variety of orthopedic conditions, including chronic, acute, post-operative care, and sports rehabilitation.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services for a variety of orthopedic conditions including chronic, acute, post-operative care and sports rehabilitation.
- Work with a team of clinicians to help patients achieve outlined goals and milestones on their individual patient care plan.
- Complete timely and accurate documentation using Casamba-Web Based documentation and Therapy Source.
- Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including medical notes and surgery reports.
- Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
- Promote continuous quality improvement.
- Instruct and counsel patients/families as needed.
Requirements
- Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist required.
- Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.
