About the Role
Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist with a special interest in oncology to join their Onion Creek, TX team. This role involves treating active adults with general orthopedic diagnoses and expanding the BSW Rehab ReVital Cancer Rehabilitation program. The ideal candidate will possess strong manual therapy skills and a desire to contribute to program development in a supportive environment that encourages clinician growth and offers mentorship, welcoming new graduates.
Responsibilities
- Full time physical therapist needed for dynamic, multidisciplinary outpatient clinic.
- Work with a team of clinicians to help patients achieve outlined goals and milestones on their individual patient care plan.
- Timely and accurate documentation using Casamba-Web Based documentation and Therapy Source.
- Interpreting assessment/diagnostic data including medical notes and surgery reports.
- Ensuring medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
- Promoting continuous quality improvement.
- Instructing and counseling patients/families as needed.
Requirements
- Current state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Physical Therapist required.
- Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.
