About the Role
As a Senior Internal Communications Specialist at Northbridge, you will play a key role in organizational information flow and the employee digital workplace experience. You will own updates, enhancements, and optimization of the company's intranet (Microsoft SharePoint) and Careers website, partnering with stakeholders to deliver engaging digital experiences and guide teams on best practices.
Responsibilities
- Own updates, enhancements, and optimization of the company's intranet (Microsoft SharePoint) and Careers website.
- Partner closely with stakeholders across the business to deliver engaging, branded, intuitive content and digital experiences.
- Act as the organization's platform subject matter expert, guiding teams on best practices.
- Support daily content needs.
- Bring forward enhancements for digital channels.
- Ensure digital channels stay modern, functional, and aligned to business priorities.
- Conceptualize and design intuitive web pages and digital experiences.
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
- Provide exceptional consultation and customer service to internal stakeholders.
- Ensure brand consistency and quality across all communication channels.
- Troubleshoot, test, and implement digital solutions.
- Think creatively about continuous improvement in employee communications.
- Help others use tools effectively.
Requirements
- 5+ years of progressive experience in an internal/employee communications role.
- Hands-on experience with Intranet/Microsoft SharePoint.
- Experience working with digital tools such as CMS platforms, web applications, and email marketing or automation services.
- Understanding of internet/intranet principles, information architecture, and web design.
- A continuous improvement mindset with curiosity about modern digital, AI-enabled communication approaches.
- Experience in complex corporate environments (e.g., banking, large enterprises) is preferred.
