Responsibilities
- Perform on-base and on-call duties to provide comprehensive support for individuals in crisis.
- Assess and address urgent needs with precision and compassion.
- Develop and implement safety plans.
- Coordinate outreach services.
- Provide essential follow-up support.
- Collaborate with 311, certified peers, and law enforcement.
- Utilize clinical skills in triage and assessment.
- Intervene in critical situations.
- Contribute to a collaborative team dedicated to improving mental health outcomes.
- Perform clinical triage and assessment of all emergency, urgent, and routine calls.
- Assess the needs of each individual served and intervene as appropriate.
- Coordinate outreach services, service planning, follow-up support, and administrative backup as needed and clinically appropriate.
- Work in compliance with MMHT, agency, and regulatory procedural guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree and NYS Licensure LMSW, LCSW or LMHC.
- 1 to 3 years’ experience preferably with individuals with mental health diagnosis.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility with hours as may require some evenings and weekends.
- Bilingual English and Spanish speaking is a plus.
