About the Role
Successful candidates will perform a wide variety of HVAC installations in the residential and commercial market, with potential for growth within a family-owned company. The ability to provide a high level of customer service is essential. We are looking for a team player committed to excellent customer service, working safely, timely, and professionally.
Responsibilities
- Install Air conditioning and heating systems in residential and commercial environments in accordance with current codes.
- Analyze, diagnose, and resolve customer problems courteously, professionally, timely, and accurately.
- Identify potential problems to prevent premature and unexpected breakdowns or callbacks.
- Communicate effectively with customers to answer questions, resolve problems, and ensure complete customer satisfaction.
- Promote products and services to customers.
- Produce and maintain organized records and reports.
- Maintain company vehicle in clean and proper working order with an organized inventory of HVAC repair necessities.
- Ensure company tools are used safely, maintained properly, and accounted for.
- Have own tools to perform installations on HVAC systems.
- Represent the company professionally, honestly, and ethically in all business matters and activities.
- Perform other similar duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience in HVAC installation.
- Must have a driver's license, clean driving record, and capability to pass a drug/alcohol test.
- Must be willing/able to work overtime and on-call rotation.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Efficient time-management and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with national, state, and local HVAC code regulations.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Graduate from a trade/vocational school HVAC program or other construction-related program preferred.
- EPA Certification 608 Certification.
- Physical ability to work in ceilings, crawl spaces, chases, and other confined work areas.
