About the Role

As a Senior Project Manager, you will leverage extensive project and change management skills to safely deliver complex, high-risk changes across people, process, and technology within the organization. You will represent senior leaders, guiding projects from proposal to full outcome delivery and benefit realization, while leading project teams to achieve strategic goals on time, within budget, and with high quality, adhering to the organization's risk appetite.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project planning, scheduling, controlling, and reporting for strategic, high-impact, high-risk projects.
  • Collaborate with sponsors, finance, the PMO, and stakeholders to develop, approve, and monitor business cases, taking action on cost, benefit, or risk deviations.
  • Manage projects end-to-end, ensuring clear scope, strong governance, and timely delivery within budget and to quality standards.
  • Assemble cross-functional teams, proactively manage risks, issues, and dependencies, and maintain oversight of costs and resources.
  • Provide clear and accurate progress and performance reports.
  • Utilize experience to drive continuous improvement and support the development of junior team members.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience delivering complex, high-risk projects across people, process, and technology.
  • Extensive experience applying project management disciplines pragmatically and flexibly, including detailed planning, risk/issue management, and business case maintenance.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional project teams.
  • Demonstrable experience effectively managing third-party suppliers and delivery partners for contractual performance, quality, and value.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders, secure decisions, and present complex information clearly.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities.
  • A recognized project management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2, MSP, Agile PM, APM) or equivalent, coupled with practical application experience.
