About the Role
This role offers a great opportunity for an experienced conveyancing solicitor with 2 or more years PQE to join a thriving law firm with a ready-made client base and regular incoming business. A training contract is available for proven success.
Responsibilities
- Handle all areas of Residential and Commercial Conveyancing
- Manage sales and purchases of houses and flats
- Process lease extensions for both commercial and residential properties
- Open new files and conduct necessary searches
- Manage the full lifecycle of conveyancing files
- Handle residential sales and purchases, mortgages, and transfers of equities
- Utilize high-quality referred work
- Process high-volume re-mortgages, shared equity, and equity release using a case management system
- Handle commercial mortgages and lending
Requirements
- Ideally 2+ years of experience
- Experience in Residential and Commercial Property
- Experience working with developers on complex buying requirements
- Comfortable managing high-volume files
- Conveyancing work experience with a focus on all property areas
- Experience working for a high street practice is ideal
- Self-starter attitude
- Keen to support a quality client base
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills
- Good client liaison skills
