About the Role
Emma Willard School seeks a part-time Driver to transport student(s) to and from off-campus activities such as athletic events, music lessons, college classes, internships or other community commitments.
Responsibilities
- Safely drive students to and from off-campus commitments
- Maintain punctuality and collegiality
- Keep accurate records of attendance
- Communicate in a timely manner for the safe and efficient pick-up of students
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain accurate trip records
- Be a positive influence in the lives of students
Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Demonstrate a commitment to safety and best practices
- Have a good working knowledge of Google platforms (especially email and Google Calendar)
- Possess patience, enthusiasm, and the ability to manage priorities
- Demonstrate superior judgment
- Be an advocate for the Emma Willard School mission
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods
- Possess specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
- Ability to work in various outside weather conditions, including rain, snow, sleet, and high winds
- Willingness to work beyond scheduled time to ensure safe transport of students
