About the Role
As a Supply Network Planner, you will lead the supply planning for Semiconductor, Display, or Functional Coating products. Your responsibilities include managing production plans for finished goods, purchasing raw materials, and executing inventory planning, including procurement from vendors, inter-companies, and toll manufacturers. You will ensure inventory is managed to desired safety stock levels, working with stakeholders to set replenishment strategies and minimum safety levels. This role requires confirming warehouse capacity, logistics, and product compliance, as well as developing secure supply, business continuity planning, and supplier management. You will interface with stakeholders to understand challenges and provide solutions to support the fast-growing Electronic Industry. Additionally, you may participate in global planning topics, strategic projects, and the ongoing SAP core system transfer project as a Key-user for the planning module.
Responsibilities
- Lead supply planning for Semiconductor, Display, or Functional Coating products.
- Manage production plans for finished goods and purchasing plans for raw materials.
- Execute inventory planning and management, including procurement from vendors, inter-companies, and toll manufacturers.
- Ensure inventory is managed to desired Safety Stock levels.
- Work with stakeholders to set replenishment strategies and minimum safety levels.
- Confirm warehouse capacity, logistics, and product compliance.
- Develop secure supply and business continuity planning.
- Manage suppliers.
- Interface with all stakeholders to understand challenges and work out solutions.
- Support fast-growing business in the Electronic Industry.
- Take care of some global planning topics and engage in strategic projects.
- Participate in the SAP core system transfer project as a Key-user for the planning module.
- Demand Planning and Supply planning.
- Raw materials planning and Purchase requisition creation.
- Inventory management of finished goods, intermediate, raw materials and auxiliary materials.
- Adjust delivery dates or supply with suppliers, procurement team or logistic teams, intercompany, etc., on a daily or monthly basis.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and collaborate on supply-related issues globally.
- Participate in projects as required.
- Support supply chain related processes, documents, and systems.
- Implement supplier management/evaluation/assessment.
- Confirm purchase order or forecast changes from intercompany or customers daily, and appropriately adjust production plans, supply schedules, or raw material purchase orders.
- Review and identify Obsolete, Slow Moving, Blocked Stock, and Excess Inventory, and perform inventory write-off or redeploy inventory.
- Develop and maintain Critical Supply Plan updates for products below desired safety levels.
- Provide PO forecast to vendors and toll manufacturers via the sourcing team.
- Confirm and review import/export processes and related laws and regulations.
Requirements
- Sufficient knowledge and/or experience in semiconductor, Display, or chemical industries.
- Substantial professional experience as a supply network planner (approximately 5 years or more).
- Job experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Production, Quality Control/Assurance, and Logistics.
- Possess the drive to promote business and achieve targets.
- Have ambition, motivation, and a desire for self-improvement.
- Good communication skills for multinational collaboration, both internally and externally.
- Team player familiar with global collaboration.
- Capable of sustained effort.
