About the Role

The Child Center of NY strengthens children and families with skills, opportunities, and emotional support to build healthy, successful lives. In this role, the Social Worker provides individual and group counseling and direct service to children, teens, adults, and their families, including assessment, treatment planning, counseling/psychotherapy, and crisis intervention. The Social Worker is a member of the treatment team and collaborates with other team members.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and group counseling and direct service to children, teens, adults, and their families.
  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans.
  • Provide counseling and psychotherapy.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work.
  • LMSW or LCSW certification preferred.
  • Bilingual Preferred: Spanish.
