About the Role
Beacon Management is seeking a Handy Man for the 365 Bond Street luxury apartments in Brooklyn, NY. This role offers rewarding daily tasks and career development opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Effectively handle service requests, correcting the situation within 24 hours when possible (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, sheet rocking, plastering, painting, carpentry, flooring and locks)
- Ensure all make-ready repairs in vacant units and services are completed correctly and on schedule.
- Participate in the on-call rotation to ensure 24 hour emergency maintenance service and response.
- Maintain the curb appeal of the community by picking up the grounds, removing snow and debris, and working on landscaping and common area needs.
Requirements
- Previous experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, sheet rocking, plastering, painting, carpentry, flooring and locks.
- Customer service skills and the ability to develop a rapport with residents and community staff.
