About the Role

As a Finance Clerk, you will support the hotel's accounting and finance operations through accurate and efficient financial administration, playing an important role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel and supporting exceptional guest experiences. This position allows you to contribute to the smooth operation and growth of the hotel through a variety of accounting tasks. You’ll do more than just handle numbers—you’ll collaborate with the front desk and other departments to support the entire hotel, giving you a real sense of fulfillment. We’re looking for motivated individuals who want to learn various accounting tasks, analyze hotel metrics such as revenue and profit. Do you aspire to become a leader in hotel finance in the future? Responsibilities

  • Management of accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • Payment processing and verification of incoming payments
  • Journal entries and maintenance of accounting records
  • Invoice processing and data entry
  • Support for monthly and annual closing
  • Review and processing of expense reports
  • Management of financial data and preparation of reports
  • Support for internal audits and compliance activities
  • General administrative support for the Finance department

Requirements

  • Ability to read, write, and understand Japanese, including kanji.
  • Ability to speak and listen, including handling phone calls.
  • Minimum ability to understand English emails and documents, and to perform tasks using English-language systems.
  • Ability to enter data into spreadsheet software.
  • Ability to create simple tables and perform basic data aggregation.
