About the Role
The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for safely performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment in various fields including carpentry, paint, electrical, janitorial equipment, HVAC, and vehicles.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and predictive maintenance.
- Perform general cleaning and maintain a clean work area.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment, electrical, and mechanical issues and repair them.
- Perform preventative equipment maintenance and repairs on floor equipment, scrubbers, chariot vacuums, extractors, etc.
- Respond to requests in a timely manner.
- Use hand and power tools, scissor lifts, ladders, and scaffolding.
- Maintain maintenance logs and schedules.
Requirements
- Six months minimum experience in a company environment or equivalent experience and/or training such as basic plumbing, painting, HVAC, or construction.
- Two years of Electrical Experience minimum.
- High School diploma or GED or equivalent combination of training and experience preferred.
- Must complete all safety, environmental, and task training and/or certifications.
- A valid driver's license may be required.
- Forklift and electric pallet jack certification may be required.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
