About the Role
Join NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Groups as a Nurse Practitioner in Cardiology, providing high-quality, patient-centered care close to home. This part-time role focuses on optimizing patient health and wellness through expert diagnosis, treatment, and education.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-patient consultations and follow-up for cardiology patients on medical and ICU floors and in the emergency department.
- Educate, diagnose, and treat patients, empowering them to stay healthy.
- Work with a dynamic team to optimize patient health and wellness.
Requirements
- BSN from an accredited program
- Master's in Nursing in the specialty of practice
- Experience working as an NP
- Current NYS RN License
- Current NYS NP License in the area of practice
- Current BLS and ACLS Certification through the AHA
- All roles require on-site presence.
- Employees should live within a commutable distance to NYP.
- NYP will not reimburse for travel expenses.
Skills
- Cardiology healthcare setting experience
