About the Role

Applications are invited for two cardiology clinical research fellow posts. The posts offer the opportunity to conduct exciting research projects in order to gain a higher research degree (MDres or PhD).

Responsibilities

  • Undertake research, under the supervision of Dr Gherardo Finocchiaro, Prof Sanjay Sharma, Prof Michael Papadakis in inherited cardiac conditions, sports cardiology and cardiac screening.
  • Support the CRY screening services.
  • Receive clinical training in inherited cardiac conditions, sports cardiology and cardiac imaging.

Requirements

  • Clinically qualified with ALS and MRCP.
  • Ideally have a specialty interest in imaging and arrhythmias.
  • Experience of working with families with inherited cardiac conditions.
  • Enthusiasm and self-motivation are essential.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Flexible and a good team member.
