About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and hardworking Line Cook to join our kitchen team. This role is crucial for ensuring high-quality food preparation, cooking, and presentation according to Parla's specifications.
Responsibilities
- Prepares food items by cutting, chopping, mixing, and preparing sauces.
- Cooks food items by grilling, frying, sautéing, and other cooking methods to specified recipes and standards.
- Prepares food to Parla’s specifications.
- Responsible for food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
- Sets up a station for service by chopping, butchering, preparing, and/or stocking station.
- Cooks menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff.
- Answers, reports, and follows CDC’s or Sous Chef’s instructions.
- Cleans up station during and at the end of service.
- Ensures food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion.
Requirements
- 2-years of experience in a fast-casual dining environment.
- Ability to read and follow standardized recipes.
- Previous experience as a pizza cook or in a similar role preferred.
