About the Role

This role supports, advises, and regulates many aspects of the school’s educational offer through the University’s academic quality and standards framework. You will work with the Deputy Registrar to manage the Academic Standard process and procedures, including assessment, academic misconduct, appeals, and complaints. You will act as secretary to School Level panels, providing expert advice on Quality and Standard matters.

Responsibilities

  • Handle matters relating to assessment, cases of academic misconduct, appeals and complaints
  • Act as secretary to School Level panels
  • Provide expert advice on matters related to Quality and Standard
  • Support senior colleagues

Requirements

  • Proven experience of working in a higher education environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Ability to analyze problems and identify solutions
  • High attention to accuracy and detail
  • Excellent inter-personal skills, including the ability to deal with enquiries effectively and efficiently
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Ability to manage a busy workload
  • Confident working with MS Office
