About the Role
The LGT Capital Partners Private Equity Off-Cycle Internship Program offers students hands-on experience in the private equity investment process, covering both direct co-investments and primary fund investments. ESG considerations are integrated into the investment process. This internship provides valuable insights and practical experience, with potential for progression to a permanent role or the Private Equity Analyst Program for high performers.
Responsibilities
- Assist the team in screening, analyzing, executing and monitoring co-investment opportunities
- Perform financial analysis and modeling
- Conduct industry research and business analysis
- Support the preparation of investment committee materials
- Maintain internal databases ensuring data quality and accuracy
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in business, economics, finance, accounting or another quantitative field, ideally in your penultimate year of study with expected graduation in summer 2027 or 2028
- First practical experience through internships or student jobs in finance, investment banking, private equity, consulting or a related field is an advantage
- Solid understanding of financial statements, valuation concepts and fundamental business analysis
- Strong motivation to learn about private equity, investment analysis and fund manager assessment
- Curiosity, analytical thinking and willingness to work with both quantitative and qualitative information on private equity funds and portfolio companies
- Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus
- Collaborative, organized and proactive mindset, with eagerness to contribute and learn in a fast-paced investment environment
