About the Role

The Research Foundation of The City University of New York (RFCUNY) is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. This role supports CUNY researchers, faculty, and staff by providing essential administrative and clerical services.

Responsibilities

  • Performs miscellaneous clerical, administrative, research, or other work related to the operation of a college or unit on a part-time or limited-duration basis.
  • Performs routine clerical work, including answering phones, maintaining records, operating office machines, sorting mail, issuing keys and identity cards, and acting as a messenger.
  • Contributes to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance ORSP administrative processes.
  • Facilitates communication among faculty, staff, Research Foundation personnel, and institutional offices for timely grant-related transaction processing.
  • Provides guidance and training to faculty and staff on compliance, financial management, and reporting procedures.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent skills in writing, interpersonal communication, customer service, and presentation.
  • Adaptable to a fast-paced work environment and changing needs and shifting priorities.
  • Detail-oriented, well-organized, with the ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work independently.
