  • Partner with content, audience, analytics, legal, finance, and business affairs teams to ensure commercial opportunities are executable, brand-safe, and aligned with rights obligations.
  • Use audience data, market intelligence, advertiser feedback, and revenue performance to inform commercial strategy, product development, and investment priorities.
  • Recruit, lead, and develop a high-performing commercial team with clear accountability, strong collaboration, and a results-oriented culture.
  • Represent AMP Sports externally with clients, agencies, platforms, partners, and industry leaders.

Requirements

  • 8+ years leading senior sales, revenue, partnerships, business development, or commercial strategy teams.
  • Demonstrated success growing revenue for sports, audio, podcast, video, social, streaming, television, or talent-led media properties.
  • Deep understanding of advertising sales, sponsorship development, branded content, agency relationships, media monetization, and evolving sports-media consumption habits.
  • Experience developing multi-platform commercial packages across audio, video, social, digital, live events, and traditional media.
  • Strong financial and business judgment, including forecasting, pricing, inventory management, revenue planning, and performance analysis.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain senior-level relationships with brands, agencies, platforms, sports properties, talent, and strategic partners.
  • Experience negotiating or overseeing complex advertising, sponsorship, distribution, licensing, talent, or partnership agreements in partnership with legal and business affairs.
