About the Role

We're looking for a data-driven and creative Digital Loyalty Manager to join our Digital Marketing team and help deepen the relationship between Action for Children and our supporters. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about integrated supporter engagement, supporter journeys and lifecycle marketing. You'll be responsible for the development of supporter journeys across email, SMS, and WhatsApp, ensuring supporters receive meaningful communications that drive engagement, income and retention. Working closely with fundraising, digital, content, analytics and CRM colleagues, you'll use data and audience understanding to create digital communications that strengthen supporter relationships and maximise long-term value. You'll play a key role in shaping how we use automation, segmentation and personalisation technology to deliver exceptional supporter experiences at scale. Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and optimisation of end-to-end digital supporter journeys across multiple touchpoints, ensuring communications are personalised, engaging, data-led and aligned to supporter needs.
  • Design and deliver data-led retention, upselling and reactivation campaigns that increase supporter engagement, income and lifetime value.
  • Develop audience segmentation strategies and personalised communications using behavioural, transactional and demographic data to improve relevance and performance.
  • Work with fundraising teams to develop digital campaigns that drive donations, regular giving and long-term supporter value.
  • Use data and a test-and-learn approach to analyse performance, spot opportunities and deliver data-led recommendations/ reports that increase engagement, income and supporter loyalty.
  • Create compelling communications for email, SMS, WhatsApp and other digital channels that inspires action and strengthens supporter relationships.
  • Manage the relationship with our email service platform, ensuring they deliver value, innovation and best practice.
  • Work collaboratively with fundraising, services, digital, communication and central teams to develop integrated supporter experiences and shared objectives.
  • Ensure all activity complies with GDPR, fundraising regulation and organisational policies relating to data and supporter communications.
  • Support, coach and develop team members while contributing to a collaborative, high-performing and innovative team culture.

Requirements

  • Proven experience delivering successful email marketing, lifecycle, retention or automation marketing programmes.
  • Strong experience using supporter or audience data to develop segmentation, personalisation and engagement strategies.
  • Demonstrable success in driving measurable improvements in engagement, income, retention or supporter value.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with experience interpreting campaign performance data and translating insight into action.
  • Strong copywriting skills, with the ability to create compelling communications that motivate audiences to engage, donate or take action.
  • Understanding of data management best practice, GDPR, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience developing testing frameworks including A/B testing, audience experimentation and optimisation programmes.
  • Experience leading, coaching and developing team members.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, able to influence and collaborate with colleagues across multiple teams.
  • Experience managing external suppliers, agencies or technology partners.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to deadlines.
  • A passion for creating exceptional supporter experiences that help Action for Children build stronger relationships with the people who support our work.

Salary/Compensations

  • £45,000 per annum
