Responsibilities
- Performs ultrasound examinations according to established department policies and procedures.
- Manages several patients and priorities and adapts to a fast-paced work environment.
- Collaborates positively and effectively with all members of the healthcare team.
- Maintains a high level of technical proficiency and stays up to date with the latest advancements in ultrasound technology.
- Assists in maintaining and managing ultrasound equipment and supplies.
- Prepares exam room, equipment, accessories, and materials as needed for various exams.
- Prepares patients for examination, explains procedures, and assists patients on and off the exam table, ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Practices sterile and isolation techniques to prevent contamination.
- Assists department to meet federal and state rules and regulations.
- Participates in identifying and correcting required changes.
- Processes images and sends through PACS system to Radiologist for interpretation.
- Reports to the appropriate medical staff any abnormalities that require immediate attention.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Proficient in general, vascular, and breast Ultrasound.

Salary/Compensations
- $55.00 per hour
