About the Role

The Multimedia Content Creator supports marketing objectives by creating engaging multimedia content, applying technical and creative storytelling skills, and managing content creation projects from inception to completion. This role primarily focuses on video content development and production, requiring a blend of technical expertise, graphic communication knowledge, and proficiency in video/audio editing tools.

Responsibilities

  • Ideation, planning, scheduling, organizing, and producing content for various platforms using best practices.
  • Overseeing production needs, including recording content and setting up lighting and audio.
  • Performing video editing, color correction, green screening, and animation.
  • Researching and recommending new content production methods and technology.
  • Publishing content on social media channels and the website.
  • Maintaining the content library and backups, and supplying video footage as needed.
  • Overseeing and collaborating with external vendors and student interns to capture content opportunities.
  • Demonstrating and role-modeling Le Moyne's mission-based competencies in all interactions.
  • Strengthening digital literacy skills through education and application of digital technologies.
  • Supporting cura personalis by treating all individuals with dignity, professionalism, and kindness.
  • Promoting cura apostolica by aligning professional goals with college strategic goals.
  • Demonstrating excellent work attendance, reliability, and work ethic.
  • Attending and actively participating in required meetings and training sessions.
  • Complying with all Le Moyne policies, procedures, and codes of conduct.
  • Completing all required federal, state, institution, and department trainings.
  • Engaging in a planned program of professional development to maintain skills and knowledge.
  • Performing a variety of related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or an Associate Degree with significant related experience.
  • At least two years of experience preferred, including internships.
  • Strong creative writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of audio, video, graphic, and digital production/communication technology.
  • Advanced computer skills in digital marketing and multimedia development, including Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premier, and photo editing programs.
  • Working knowledge of web content management systems preferred.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms preferred.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the College to effectively communicate information.
  • Demonstrated sensitivity to the importance of Le Moyne’s Jesuit tradition.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to be self-directed, work as a team player, and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
