About the Role
Portland Leather Goods is seeking enthusiastic individuals for a seasonal retail position. This role involves assisting customers, maintaining store organization, and creating a positive shopping experience. The ideal candidate is social, enjoys working with beautiful products, and is passionate about helping people.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a friendly, authentic, timely manner
- Create lasting relationships and fun memories with customers
- Maintain comprehensive understanding and upkeep with store products
- Ensure the store is neat, organized, and well stocked
- Provide excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Process payments accurately
- Maintain a safe working and shopping environment by following all safety policies and procedures
Requirements
- High school diploma or higher
- Must be available to work weekends
- Customer service/retail experience required
- Must be a team player
- Familiarity with POS systems and ability to learn new systems
- Friendly, outgoing personality
- Ability to lift objects weighing up to 20 lbs.
