About the Role

Care for our community, and your career. Float Pool differential $2.50 per hour. Up to $24000.00 Sign on Bonus. Staff Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care, assesses patient needs, develops and implements care plans, and supervises other healthcare staff. They administer medications, monitor patient health, educate patients and families, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals. RNs also document patient care, adhere to nursing regulations, and ensure patient safety.

Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
  • Previous hospital RN experience is preferred
  • BLS required or obtained within 3 months of hire
  • Possesses a thorough knowledge of nursing principles
  • Ability to provide quality patient care
  • Ability to assess patient's needs, e.g. clinical, teaching, mental and spiritual
  • Must recognize safety issues to self and others
  • Able to assess and implement use of lifts to and move patients in a safe manner
  • Must be able to function well in stressful situations
  • Must have good, creative, problem-solving skills
