About the Role
As a Manager, Business Analysis at Capital One, you will apply strategic and analytical skills to major company opportunities and challenges. You will collaborate with professionals to develop and test strategies that impact the bottom line in a supportive environment that values insight, responsibility, continuous learning, and innovation. This role is within Capital One's Global Payment Networks' (GPN) Global Acceptance organization, specifically within the Global Deals team, which orchestrates and drives deal analytics, pricing, and negotiations for strategic network relationships. You will operate in deal-specific pods, working with internal and external stakeholders to drive problem-solving and alignment. Success requires strategic thinking, quantitative rigor, and concise communication of cross-functional information. You will be trusted to drive outcomes, not just produce analysis. Prior payments experience in industry, top-tier consulting, or investment banking is ideal.
Responsibilities
- Help build strategies supporting the GPN leadership team with their top priorities.
- Influence the development of new & existing platforms, as well as breakthrough technology and concepts.
- Identify business challenges and opportunities for improvement.
- Solve business problems using analysis to make strategic or tactical recommendations.
- Work closely with colleagues across Capital One including Pricing, Corporate Development, Sales, and others to drive improvement in quality, volume, service, and profitability.
- Demonstrate a proven track record of decision making and problem solving based on analytics.
- Apply conceptual thinking skills complemented by a strong quantitative orientation.
- Exhibit strong business judgment, leadership, and integrity.
- Be a tenacious decision maker with a healthy, aggressive, yet responsible approach to business.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in any quantitative field (Business, Math, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Science, Engineering)
- At least 1 year of experience in analysis
- Master’s Degree in Business or quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Physical Sciences, Math, Statistics, Engineering (Nice to Have)
- 1+ years of experience in consulting (Nice to Have)
- 1+ years of experience in market research (Nice to Have)
- 1+ years of experience in statistical model building (Nice to Have)
- 2+ years of experience in business analysis (Nice to Have)
- Payments experience either in industry, top-tier consulting firms (in pricing or private equity practice), or investment banks (Ideal)
