About the Role
Dimensional's Canadian Wealth Management group is responsible for developing new business and managing current relationships with financial advisors. This role provides relationship management and analytical support to grow existing relationships and develop net new business, focusing on understanding client needs and adding value to enhance their investment experience.
Responsibilities
- Articulate complex investment principles and capital market research to financial advisors.
- Educate financial advisors on the construction and function of portfolio solutions.
- Interact with advisors on practice management related issues.
- Partner with Senior Relationship Managers and develop strong relationships with key advisor clients.
- Develop and deliver complex, educational investment presentations to financial advisors.
- Facilitate the production of complex client-driven requests among a team of Associates.
- Develop a robust understanding of the advisor industry and related business practices.
Requirements
- Four plus years of experience in the Financial Services/Investment industry.
- Strong analytical skills and quantitative problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with the capability of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
- Intellectual curiosity with a desire for self-improvement.
- Able to work equally well in a team environment and independently.
- Strong computer skills (Excel and Access) with the ability to learn programs as needed.
