About the Role

EXL Risk Control is seeking self-directed independent contractors with excellent communication skills, computer proficiency, and a commitment to meeting client quality and timeliness standards. You will work from your home or office, servicing onsite survey/inspection assignments within approximately 20 miles of Fresh Meadows, Queens, NY.

Responsibilities

Scheduling on-site surveys and providing risk control reports to insurance industry clients.
Managing accepted assignments, securing customer appointments within a local territory, and completing work assignments on time.
Evaluating businesses to identify hazards and improve safety, mitigating risks for insurance company clients.
Surveying commercial operations including retail, restaurants, hotels, apartments, construction jobsites, churches, and schools.
Assessing businesses for Property and General Liability coverage, and servicing other commercial insurance lines such as Workers Compensation, Auto/Fleet, Products Liability, Inland Marine, and Builders Risk.

Requirements

Possess excellent communication skills.
Must have computer proficiency.
Must have a commitment to meeting client quality and timeliness standards.
Must provide a digital camera or tablet.
Must provide a computer.
Must provide a printer.
Must have high-speed internet access.
Must have a reliable vehicle.
Must provide a measuring device such as a laser, 100 ft. tape, or measuring wheel.
Must provide Auto and General Liability Insurance.
