About the Role
The Boarding Paralegal will manage the initial stages of foreclosure cases, including data input, document review, and file management. This role involves ensuring accurate loan data entry into CaseAware and other systems, processing status changes, and managing incoming mail. Experience with BKFS/Tempo and a background in foreclosure and bankruptcy is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Create and establish new case files and ensure proper organization and categorization of all associated documents.
- Review loan documents received to verify completeness and determine if additional documents are required.
- Input client and case information in the firm's case management system, while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
- Process and update file status changes, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
- Categorize and process incoming mail related to foreclosure and bankruptcy cases.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in default services, with experience in both foreclosure and bankruptcy preferred.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Capability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
