About the Role
Cotopaxi retail stores are hubs for connection, inspiration, and adventure, viewing every guest interaction as a chance to create meaningful, personal, inclusive, and impactful experiences. As a Retail Guide, you will create memorable moments for customers, guiding them with product knowledge and sharing experiences to support their adventures. You will inspire others to become fans of the brand by creating a high-impact and vibrant store experience.
Responsibilities
- Championing Authentic Guest Experiences
- Connect with every guest, sharing experience and offering help.
- Educate guests on products, experiences, local highlights, mission, and impact.
- Act as an ambassador living Cotopaxi’s values of People, Innovation, and Adventure.
- Restock and destock products to maintain store appearance.
- Open and close the store on time.
- Manage the point of sale system.
- Play an active role in creating an uplifting, collaborative, and fun store culture.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Experience in retail or similar fast-paced environments is a plus.
- Energetic and enthusiastic with a desire to share the company story and drive guest connections.
- A humanitarian at heart, believing in the Do Good mission.
- Possess an eye for detail and strong organizational skills.
- Demonstrate strong accountability and self-guidance.
- Flexibility to work varying hours, including at least 2 weekdays and 1 weekend.
- Ability to work during the holiday season, including the Friday after Thanksgiving.
- Ability to work for the duration of the location term.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet in an active role.
