Responsibilities
- Define and own SAP's government affairs strategy for the UK and Ireland.
- Place SAP's cloud and AI portfolio at the center of national digital policy conversations.
- Drive public sector adoption.
- Shape data sovereignty positions.
- Protect critical national infrastructure.
- Monitor political developments and flag emerging risks.
- Counsel SAP's leadership team on regulatory risk.
- Represent SAP before government bodies and parliamentary committees.
- Coordinate with counterparts on cross-border priorities.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in government affairs and public policy.
- Sustained engagement with political and regulatory institutions across the UK and Ireland.
- Built trusted networks spanning ministers, senior civil servants, parliamentary bodies, and industry coalitions.
- Demonstrated track record of advising executive leadership on policy risk.
- Experience representing the government affairs function at the most senior levels of a global organization.
