About the Role

Provide strategic and technology consulting to customers in the SAP S/4HANA space, focusing on Order-to-Cash / Sales & Service processes. Conduct analyses, contribute to bid teams, develop end-to-end solutions, and manage functional implementation, configuration, and testing.

Responsibilities

Conduct requirements and feasibility analyses.
Actively contribute to bid teams, including preparing proposals, estimating effort, presenting solutions, and running customer workshops.
Develop and design modern end-to-end solutions for SAP implementation, transformation, and optimization projects.
Responsible for the functional implementation of concepts, system configuration and customizing, as well as coordinating and carrying out tests.
Take on a broader steering role in complex SAP S/4HANA programs and subprojects.
Support project management with planning, governance, and risk management.
Provide functional leadership to project teams.
Coordinate collaboration with customers, internal departments, and offshore and nearshore teams.
Actively support the development of existing customer relationships, identifying added value, and finding opportunities to expand work with customers.
Contribute market, technology, and project experience to the ongoing development of the SAP portfolio.
Coach and mentor consultants and junior consultants, and support their structured professional development.
Support sales and presales activities by preparing solution concepts, proposal content, and customer presentations.
Keep up to date with SAP strategies, technologies, and innovations and apply them to customer and project solutions.

Requirements

Successfully completed degree in (business) information technology, business administration with a focus on IT, public administration, or a comparable qualification.
At least six years of recent professional experience as an SAP consultant or SAP architect in the Order-to-Cash / Sales & Service process area.
Additional knowledge of MDG, GTS, or DRC is welcome.
Successfully contributed to several full-cycle SAP S/4HANA transformations—Brownfield, Greenfield, or Selective Data Transition.
Gained in-depth experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP ERP, as well as a comprehensive understanding of the underlying business processes.
Strong business administration skills and a well-developed understanding of integrated logistics processes.
A very good understanding of current SAP solutions and technologies, such as SAP S/4HANA, RISE with SAP, SAP GROW, and Business AI, as well as SAP’s transformation strategy.
Experience leading subprojects and initial practical experience managing projects or larger project streams.
Strong customer consulting skills and the ability to present functional and technical solutions appropriately to different audiences.
Ability to communicate and collaborate with business departments, project leads, and customer representatives, including at management level.
A structured way of working based on established project management methods and SAP Activate.
Experience providing functional leadership to project team members.
Strong interpersonal skills when working with distributed teams.
A strong team spirit, initiative, and an independent, reliable, solution-oriented approach.
Very good written and spoken German and English.
Willingness to work on site at customer locations and as part of international, distributed project teams.
