About the Role

Under supervision, provides a wide range of administrative and secretarial support for the office.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the first point of face-to-face contact with staff and visitors to the office.
  • Interfaces with staff addressing questions regarding general office procedures.
  • Distributes mail and packages.
  • Manages various mass distributions as needed.
  • Schedules meetings/appointments and reserves conference rooms.
  • Assists with organization and preparation for all meetings, workshops, events and presentations and ensures proper room set-up.
  • Maintains general appearance of the office space.
  • Maintains and manages kitchen equipment, monitors usage, schedules repairs, and trains staff on safety and maintenance protocols.
  • Assists with travel arrangements when needed.

Requirements

  • Approximately 1 year of prior administrative support experience.

Skills

  • Demonstrated organizational skills
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Ability to exercise standards of professionalism, including appearance, presentation and demeanor.

  • Upper East Side

Experience Level

  • 1 year of prior administrative support experience

  • High school diploma or GED

Salary/Compensations

  • $23.79 - $25.88 per hour
