About the Role
Lead the safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of telecommunications projects with a focus on FTTH/Fibre. Oversee daily field operations, manage performance against KPIs, coordinate resources, and ensure compliance with client requirements, SSHEQ standards, and contractual commitments.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate FTTH field delivery teams.
- Manage operational performance, productivity, and KPIs.
- Ensure compliance with SSHEQ, NRSWA, and client standards.
- Monitor project progress, quality, and programme delivery.
- Manage subcontractors and field resources.
- Build strong relationships with clients, customers, and stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
- Ensure accurate reporting, audits, as-builts, and evidence capture.
Requirements
- Proven experience in FTTH/Fibre delivery environments.
- Previous leadership or management experience within telecoms.
- Strong knowledge of fibre installation, testing, splicing, and network delivery.
- Experience managing field teams and subcontractors.
- Understanding of KPI-driven operational performance.
- Knowledge of SSHEQ, NRSWA, and PIA requirements.
- Strong communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- FTTH/Fibre delivery experience.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- PIA Accreditation (SA002 and/or S7/S8).
- NRSWA Certification.
- First Aid Qualification.
- Health & Safety Qualification.
