About the Role
As an IT Product Owner Construction (w/m/d) in our Transformation division, you will take on technical responsibility for building IT systems in Managed Services and support PwC and our clients in the construction industry with the digitalization of business processes. You will conceptualize optimal solutions for IT infrastructure and shape, operate, and support our clients' technologies with your team. Your responsibilities include IT Service Management according to ITIL for the entire lifecycle of IT services, from IT solution design to implementation and operational support. As a point of contact for clients and your team, you will stay current with digitalization topics (e.g., BIM) and actively drive them forward in daily work as a member of Managed Services.
Responsibilities
- Take on technical responsibility for building IT systems in Managed Services.
- Support PwC and clients in the construction industry with the digitalization of business processes.
- Conceptualize optimal solutions for IT infrastructure.
- Shape, operate, and support client technologies with the team.
- Manage IT Service Management according to ITIL for the entire lifecycle of IT services.
- Oversee IT solution design, implementation, and operational support.
- Act as a point of contact for clients and the team regarding digitalization topics (e.g., BIM).
- Drive digitalization topics forward in daily work as a member of Managed Services.
Requirements
- Completed studies in civil engineering, (business) informatics, or a comparable degree program.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT, IT Service Management, and/or IT Project Management, including agile methodologies, IT product, and release management.
- Experience working in project teams within the construction sector.
- Proficiency with Windows 10, MS Office 365, ticketing systems, networked PC environments.
- Knowledge of PMO and SCRUM.
- ITIL certification is a plus.
- Fluent German language skills (written and spoken).
- Customer-oriented, communicative, with strong methodical-conceptual thinking.
- Confident demeanor with high teamwork skills.
- Willingness to travel an average of 3 days per week.
