About the Role
We are seeking a Part-Time Bartender to prepare and serve beverages, maintain a clean bar, and provide excellent customer service. This role is crucial for ensuring a positive guest experience during events and regular service.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including restocking supplies and cleaning glassware.
- Ensure compliance with all alcohol serving laws and company policies.
- Provide prompt, courteous service to guests, engaging with them to create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and follow opening and closing procedures.
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption and act responsibly to prevent over-service.
- Assist with inventory counts and restocking.
- Work closely with the event team and other staff to ensure smooth service during events.
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
Requirements
- Proven bartending experience in a bar, restaurant, or event setting.
- Current alcohol service certification (as required by local laws).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Flexible availability, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Must be at least 21 years of age (or legal serving age in NYC).
- Must be able to stand for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 25lbs.
