About the Role
Solidus is seeking an experienced individual to own the company's events program end-to-end, from major conferences to intimate executive dinners. This role involves strategic decision-making on event participation, budget management, and ensuring events translate into tangible business outcomes like pipeline generation and closed deals. The position requires close collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Leadership teams to maximize the impact of event presence.
Responsibilities
- Build and run the events calendar, defining participation across various market circuits.
- Evaluate sponsorships, negotiate packages, and manage event budgets and ROI.
- Design and execute executive dinners, roundtables, roadshows, and branded events.
- Manage all aspects of Solidus-hosted events, including venue, run-of-show, branding, and attendee experience.
- Partner with Sales and SDRs on target account lists, pre-event outreach, meeting booking, and post-event follow-up.
- Track event contributions in CRM systems and conduct post-event debriefs to refine future strategies.
- Secure speaking slots for executives and coordinate co-marketing efforts with industry partners.
- Collaborate with social media and PR teams to extend event reach beyond the immediate audience.
Requirements
- 4+ years in event or field marketing, ideally in B2B fintech, financial services, crypto, or SaaS.
- Proven track record of organizing events that measurably drove pipeline.
- Experience producing both intimate executive-level experiences and large conference sponsorships.
- Strong vendor, venue, and sponsorship negotiation skills.
- Experience partnering with Sales on account-based programs and event-driven outreach.
- Proficiency with HubSpot or a similar CRM for tracking engagement and attribution.
- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent events across different regions.
- Comfort engaging with senior executives, regulators, and industry leaders.
- Genuine curiosity and ability to quickly learn technical and regulatory subject matter.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
- High standards for quality and attention to detail.
