About the Role

We are looking for a Business & Data Analyst to join our team in Technology Data and Innovation (TDI) – Risk, Finance & Treasury (RFT) – Reporting Domain. You will work on Strategic Data Onboarding and Supporting Strategic Data Initiatives across the Function in London, New York and Frankfurt, predominantly supporting the BFA Chapter covering the Group Regulatory Reporting & Enterprise Data Management (EDM) Workstreams.

Responsibilities

  • Support the end-to-end data analysis, including alignment of newly sourced data, checks during process steps, issue remediation/support, and analysis of reported data.
  • Partner with Finance, Risk, and Treasury, including Front office systems, to analyze requirements and translate them into business processes/data requirements.
  • Work with IT to specify requirements and ensure technical integration and correct implementation.
  • Data Analytics (High Volume & Content Driven)
  • Conceptual Design and Customisation of Warehouse Components
  • Business Data Modelling, Business Impact Analysis and Reverse Engineering Analysis
  • Data trends – ability to summarise and assess trends based on high volume data
  • Definition and Documentation of Requirements
  • Translating business/Risk, Finance and Treasury controls / regulatory requirements into data/system requirements and work with various teams including engineers to implement solutions

Requirements

  • IT analytical skills (Essential)
  • Excellent analytical skills coupled with experience in high volume data analysis (Essential)
  • SQL

  • Experience in Risk Control / Accounting Related Work/ Treasury or Risk (Beneficial & Advantage)
  • Banking Product knowledge and knowledge of Regulatory Calculations
  • Experience within Auditing or Investment Banking preferred (Beneficial)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple work streams
  • Proactive with a can-do attitude
  • Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs
