About the Role
Lead the strategy, roadmap, and evolution of Valenz Health’s Pharmacy Solutions portfolio, serving as the business owner to identify market opportunities, prioritize investments, and bring solutions from strategy through delivery and adoption. You will collaborate across various departments and external partners to develop solutions that reduce pharmacy spend and improve member outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Own the vision, strategy, roadmap, and business objectives for the Valenz Health Pharmacy Solutions portfolio.
- Identify pharmacy trends, market opportunities, regulatory developments, competitive activity, and customer needs.
- Incorporate perspectives from employers, health plans, brokers, consultants, clinicians, and members into product development.
- Translate product strategy into prioritized initiatives, product capabilities, MVPs, release plans, and phased delivery strategies.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to develop scalable solutions delivering clinical, financial, and customer value.
- Lead strategic relationships with pharmacy partners, including PBMs, specialty pharmacy providers, and technology partners.
- Evaluate build-versus-buy opportunities, partnerships, and third-party solutions.
- Partner with Sales, Client Success, Marketing, and Implementation on go-to-market strategy and product positioning.
- Serve as the internal subject matter expert for the Pharmacy Solutions portfolio.
- Define and monitor product performance across key metrics like savings, utilization, engagement, and clinical outcomes.
- Use data to identify improvement opportunities and build business cases for new capabilities.
- Coordinate product readiness across technology, operations, implementation, and go-to-market execution.
- Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Information Security to ensure compliance with regulatory, privacy, and security requirements.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Product Management, healthcare technology, pharmacy benefits, digital health, or a related healthcare field.
- Experience defining product strategy, managing roadmaps, and leading cross-functional initiatives.
- Experience working with healthcare products involving complex operational, clinical, technical, or regulatory requirements.
- Experience in self-funded healthcare, pharmacy benefits, PBM, specialty pharmacy, or pharmacy cost-management solutions.
- Strong analytical and financial acumen, including experience evaluating product performance and developing business cases.
- Ability to translate customer, market, and business needs into clear product priorities and scalable solutions.
- Strong communication, presentation, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively across Product, Technology, Clinical, Operations, Data, Sales, Marketing, and client-facing teams.
- Must be US based.
- Must be able to work effectively and comply with company policies such as HIPAA.
- Requires a quiet workspace free from distractions.

- Requires adherence to company security protocols, including VPNs, secure passwords, and company-approved devices/software.
