About the Role
We are hiring our first full-time supply chain team member to lead our engagement with the supply chain for capital projects in utility-scale energy and data center infrastructure. This role focuses on building, fostering, and improving the supply chain through deep relationships, being a trusted partner, and driving innovation. The goal is to ensure suppliers understand future demand and are prepared to scale capacity. This role will involve automating repetitive tasks with AI and working closely with the engineering team to optimize supplier performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead engagement with the supply chain for capital projects.
- Foster and improve the supply chain through deep relationships and trust.
- Ensure suppliers understand future demand and scale capacity.
- Work with the engineering team to understand needs and help suppliers optimize for rate.
- Aggressively automate repetitive tasks with AI.
- Travel to suppliers, factories, and job sites.
Requirements
- Led supply chains for complex industrial equipment and systems, ideally in energy or construction.
- Understand how a factory works, including capacity, throughput, and lead times.
- Experience scaling supplier output or own operations.
- Ability to build trust with suppliers and understand their constraints.
- Ability to translate engineering needs into factory requirements and vice versa.
- Demonstrated ability to automate repetitive tasks with AI.
- Mission alignment and desire to build a future of abundance.
- Experience in supply chain, sourcing, procurement, or manufacturing operations for energy, construction, or other complex industrial systems.
- An engineering background is a plus.
