About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and motivated AI Analyst responsible for designing, implementing, operationalizing, and governing AI solutions across the organization using existing platforms and vendor capabilities. The role aims to leverage enterprise AI technologies to generate business value, increase productivity, and drive large-scale automation. The AI Analyst will collaborate with business users, analysts, architects, security teams, data teams, and vendors to ensure AI solutions are scalable, secure, compliant, and aligned with organizational governance principles. This position bridges solution architecture, practical implementation, governance, and stakeholder engagement to foster responsible AI adoption while meeting business requirements.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and deliver end-to-end AI solutions using enterprise platforms like Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, Power Platform, Microsoft Fabric, and SAP BTP AI Core.
- Translate business needs into scalable AI-integrated solutions, processes, and workflows.
- Configure, integrate, and deploy AI capabilities within Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Azure, SAP, and other enterprise applications.
- Ensure proper integration with approved data sources and adherence to enterprise architecture standards.
- Develop and maintain AI solution inventories, risk registers, governance frameworks, policies, standards, and procedures.
- Conduct AI risk assessments and ensure solutions comply with organizational policies, security requirements, privacy standards, and data residency regulations.
- Administer Azure AI Foundry, Copilot, and organizational-wide AI agent governance.
- Support governance mechanisms and assist business unit AI initiative leads and enterprise AI projects.
- Collaborate with business analysts, clients, IT teams, security teams, and vendors to identify solution opportunities and drive successful adoption of AI capabilities.
- Perform AI solution reviews to ensure they meet business requirements, architectural standards, governance requirements, and execution best practices.
- Promote awareness and adoption of AI technologies through training, coaching, demonstrations, and knowledge sharing.
- Advise stakeholders on AI capabilities, limitations, best practices, and appropriate uses.
- Establish, document, and maintain AI development standards and best practices.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance organizational productivity and automation.
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Data Engineering, Data Science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in a technology field, including software development or engineering, cloud engineering, solution architecture, automation or intelligent automation, or machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) engineering.
- Minimum of two (2) years of significant hands-on AI experience, including designing and developing generative AI (GenAI) and large language model (LLM) solutions.
- Experience in executing AI initiatives from design to production deployment.
- Cloud certifications are an asset, particularly Microsoft Azure certifications.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working within multidisciplinary teams and managing stakeholder relationships.
- Ability to obtain or hold a Government of Canada Enhanced Reliability Security Clearance.
Skills
- Excellent knowledge of enterprise AI platforms, including Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Services, Power Platform, Microsoft Fabric, and SAP BTP AI Core, or equivalent platforms.
- In-depth understanding of AI solution architecture, design principles, modeling techniques, lifecycle management, and deployment strategies.
- Experience implementing AI governance frameworks, policies, standards, and controls to ensure security, compliance, consistency, and responsible AI use.
- Solid understanding of APIs, integrations, workflow automation, and enterprise system integration patterns.
- Working knowledge of programming and scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, Java, PowerShell, and SQL.
- Understanding of Azure DevOps and modern software delivery practices.
- Knowledge of prompt engineering, AI agent orchestration, and generative AI solution development.
- Understanding of data protection, privacy, AI risk management, and enterprise governance requirements.
