About the Role

This internship offers a unique opportunity to support associate and Wealth Advisor teams, gaining first-hand experience in the Wealth Management cycle within a collaborative and client-focused team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform data reconciliation, data entry, auditing, and compliance for client portfolios.
  • Populate and maintain client data in the internal CRM (Salesforce).
  • Create client reports using internal CRMs (APX and Salesforce).
  • Assist Wealth Advisors in preparing client packages.
  • Provide ad hoc support to associate and Wealth Advisor teams.

Requirements

  • Students in their third/fourth year of an undergraduate degree with a focus on Finance, Business Administration, and/or Economics.
  • Ambitious students with a strong academic track record.
  • Interest in impacting process efficiencies at CC&L.
  • At least one previous internship experience in Finance, Asset Management, and/or Investment Management.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • French language skills are an asset.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Positive, can-do attitude.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work autonomously.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Adobe Acrobat).
  • Understanding of private client service and investment management practice is an asset.
