About the Role

The Account Executive - Seasonal Accessories will serve as the primary sales contact for their assigned area of responsibility, focusing on customer service to drive overall sales volume and profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business plans for assigned accounts to achieve financial goals.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients to foster collaboration and strengthen partnerships.
  • Prepare for and attend client meetings with organized presentation materials, client binders, and product samples.
  • Analyze sales data and identify retail trends to drive incremental sales and market opportunities.
  • Research and create reports for management as requested.
  • Provide feedback to Designers and Merchandisers on product alignment with client expectations and target costing.
  • Write and complete internal production orders to initiate the product go-to-market process.
  • Manage customer communications and resolve issues in collaboration with Merchandising, Design, Planning, and Distribution Centers.
  • Oversee orders, shipping, logistics, and other daily client-related issues.
  • Collaborate with the Forecasting team on seasonal forecasts to ensure adequate inventory levels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent degree/experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Sales or Buying.
  • Retail buying or vendor/wholesale industry experience preferred.
  • Experience with apparel preferred.
  • Strong understanding and practical application of retail math.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel required).
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills for internal and external audiences.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret information quickly and accurately.
  • Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25–30%.
  • Prior international travel experience preferred.
  • Ability to receive, lift, open, and unpack boxes containing product samples.
  • Ability to represent the company at industry events, community functions, and business dinners.
  • Detail-oriented with strong follow-through.
  • Highly motivated, professional, dependable, and action-oriented.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and collaborative team contributor.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively.
