About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Executive Housekeeper to lead the pre-opening and operational phases of a new 222-key hotel, ensuring exceptional housekeeping standards and guest experiences.
Responsibilities
- Oversee complete housekeeping operations for a 222-key hotel from pre-opening through full operational capacity.
- Develop and implement comprehensive housekeeping policies, procedures, and standards aligned with brand guidelines and guest expectations.
- Recruit, train, and manage a housekeeping team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Establish quality assurance protocols and conduct regular inspections to ensure consistent cleanliness and maintenance standards across all guest rooms and public areas.
- Manage housekeeping budgets, including labor costs, supplies, and equipment procurement, while maintaining cost efficiency.
- Liaise with other departments (Front Office, Maintenance, Guest Services) to ensure seamless hotel operations and exceptional guest experiences.
- Implement sustainable and environmentally responsible housekeeping practices.
- Develop staff scheduling and workload management systems to optimize productivity and team morale.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and equipment.
- Handle guest complaints and concerns related to housekeeping services with professionalism and discretion.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations throughout all housekeeping operations.
- Lead the pre-opening setup, including staff induction, training programs, and operational readiness.
- Report to senior management on departmental performance, challenges, and recommendations.
