About the Role
The Bartender is responsible for delivering results that contribute to the hotel's mission and success by accomplishing performance objectives covering the social venues. This role involves setting up, servicing, and breaking down the bar area to ensure high quality, consistency, and service.
Responsibilities
- Welcome customers, determine beverage preferences, make recommendations, and take drink orders.
- Plan drink menus and inform customers about new beverages and specials.
- Act as a Server when needed.
- Select and mix ingredients, garnish glasses, and serve beverages to customers.
- Check identification to ensure customers are of legal drinking age.
- Take inventory and order supplies to ensure the bar and tables are well-stocked.
- Adhere to all food safety and quality regulations.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring accuracy and returning correct change.
- Maintain a clean work and dining area.
- Develop new cocktail recipes.
- Complete duties as assigned by Manager / GM.
Requirements
- TABC and Food Handler Certified
- Available to work weekends, holidays, afternoons, evenings, and night shifts.
