About the Role
Phillips Lytle is seeking a seasoned data privacy and cyber security lawyer to join our Litigation Practice. This role involves handling complex data, privacy, and cybersecurity issues for a range of companies across multiple industries, including Fortune 500 and Fortune 1000 clients.
Responsibilities
- Advising companies on US federal and state privacy laws and global regulations.
- Drafting privacy policies.
- Developing and implementing internal data protection programs.
- Counseling on business and legal incident responses to security breaches.
- Advising on privacy issues associated with AI, health data, biometric data, and other sensitive information.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience handling complex data, privacy, cybersecurity, and related regulatory issues.
- Superior academic credentials.
- Strong analytical, drafting, leadership, and communication skills.
