About the Role
Phillips Lytle is seeking a seasoned data privacy and cyber security lawyer to join our Litigation Practice. This role involves advising companies on complex data, privacy, and cybersecurity issues, including regulatory compliance, incident response, and emerging technologies like AI.
Responsibilities
- Advising companies on US federal and state privacy laws and global regulations
- Drafting privacy policies
- Developing and implementing internal data protection programs
- Counseling on business and legal incident responses to security breaches
- Advising on privacy issues associated with AI, health data, biometric data and other sensitive information
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience handling complex data, privacy, cybersecurity, and related regulatory issues
- Superior academic credentials
- Strong analytical, drafting, leadership and communication skills
