About the Role
The Summer College Internship Program is a 10-week paid internship experience designed for undergraduate and graduate students. It offers opportunities to attend development workshops, network with professionals, and contribute to meaningful projects. Interns receive mentorship and develop skills throughout the summer, gaining exposure to key business concepts and working in various technical and non-technical areas.
Responsibilities
- Participate in ERP strategy, project planning, and stakeholder meetings.
- Document current-state business processes and map future-state workflows.
- Support requirements gathering sessions by documenting feedback and needs.
- Assist with maintaining project documentation, process flows, user guides, and change management materials.
- Create reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate project status and findings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand ERP impacts across various business functions.
- Support testing activities by documenting scenarios, executing scripts, and tracking defects.
- Evaluate user adoption and identify opportunities to improve engagement and training.
- Work with a mentor and support key strategic projects.
- Complete work assignments based on business needs, departmental priorities, and individual qualifications.
- Perform a mix of technical and/or non-technical tasks covering a broad range of business-related projects.
- Create and deliver presentations at the completion of the internship.
- Demonstrate high standards of integrity by supporting the company's mission and values.
- Maintain confidentiality and protection of member privacy.
- Attend work reliably and regularly.
- Perform other functions as assigned by management.
Requirements
- High School diploma along with proof of continuous college enrollment (enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate degree program).
- Must be in good academic standing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to interact with technical and non-technical audiences and interface with staff at all levels.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work well in a team and establish good working relationships with peers.
- Demonstrates strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving and prioritization skills.
- Proactive approach to work, displaying creativity and flexibility in completing assigned tasks.
- Commitment to continuous improvement of skills and team functioning.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as on intra- and inter- departmental teams.
- Ability to work while sitting and/or standing at a workstation viewing a computer and using a keyboard, mouse and/or phone for three (3) or more hours at a time.
- Ability to travel across the Health Plan service region for meetings and/or training courses as needed.

About the Company
- The Summer College Internship Program is a 10-week paid internship experience that provides undergraduate and graduate students with the opportunity to attend development workshops, network, and be part of our company.
- Our college interns work on meaningful projects, are mentored under their respective managers, and continue to develop throughout the entire summer.
- Through the internship program, our interns can attend development workshops that are focused on key business concepts.
- Interns may work within the skills-based tracks of Business Administration, Information Technology, Actuarial, Human Resources, Analytics & Data, Communications, Finance, Marketing & Sales, Project Management, Clinical Studies, Customer Experience, Digital Operations, and other non-technical and/or technical based degree programs.
- Housing is not provided as part of our program.
