About the Role

Fairstone is hiring a full-time Branch Manager in our Downtown Toronto, Ontario branch. This role involves developing new business, maintaining client relationships, and empowering team members within a growing business.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall success of the branch by maintaining and optimizing branch profitability.
  • Grow the business by developing new opportunities and supporting client acquisition through multiple channels.
  • Create a best-in-class customer experience by fostering a welcoming environment and ensuring all customer needs are met.
  • Implement people strategy that attracts, retains, and develops talent.
  • Drive accountability and coach team members to achieve operational, developmental, and customer experience expectations.
  • Lead change initiatives and ensure all relevant information is cascaded to teams.
  • Ensure high employee engagement and develop individual development plans.
  • Ensure all activities are conducted in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and procedures.
  • Maintain a high degree of confidentiality of client information and comply with policies on customer confidentiality.
  • Act as a Fairstone ambassador in local communities and project a positive company image.

Requirements

  • Three to five years of directly related work experience in finance industry sales (consumer finance industry preferred) or three to five years of previous management experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer relationship building skills.
  • Strong communication skills to communicate with all levels of employees, managers, and customers.
  • Demonstrated effective verbal, written, and listening skills.
  • Ability to be a self-starter, proactive, and display initiative.
  • Ability to work flexible hours in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Must successfully pass a criminal background check, credit check, and validation of work experience.
