About the Role
The Healthcare, Higher Education and Not-for-profit Treasury Sales Client Officer will act as the primary client interface for a portfolio of high-revenue, complex Treasury clients. This role focuses on accelerating revenue realization by leading and coordinating the delivery of complex treasury, cash management, card, merchant, and deposit solutions. The position requires independent judgment, operational excellence, process improvement, and rigorous execution of assigned projects.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for delivery of integrated treasury solutions to clients across the entirety of the project scope.
- Partners closely with client-facing teammates to consult on sales opportunities and provides product expertise and consultation.
- Maintains client focus, treasury industry expertise, client subsector expertise, and a broad understanding of the bank's structure.
- Develops data-driven insights and presentations for clients, including recommendations to reduce risk, improve working capital, and digitization of payments/receipts.
- Participates in the Client Management Process focusing on client relationship development from growth of new client relationships to deepening existing relationships.
- Ensures service and fulfillment related requests/queries are directed to the relevant teams, responding to all client and partner requests in a timely manner, and keeping stakeholders up-to-date on progress.
- Identifies cross-sell opportunities through scope expansions driven by client interactions.
- Consults with the client as their single point of contact through implementation and testing of multiple products while helping to bridge project plans across various payment solutions and fulfillment teams.
- Facilitates internal and external client calls to work through implementation requests for successful completion.
- Leverages key stakeholders to drive process improvement, operational excellence and successful completion of the client’s project, including resolving escalations with product setup.
- Troubleshoots, researches, and responds to internal client team requests for resolutions and resolves complex escalations using sound judgment and decision making.
- Follows project management disciplines to ensure projects remain on track to meet the client’s target delivery dates.
- Validates all services meet client expectations post-implementation, and ensures a smooth hand-off to Client Services at the conclusion of the implementation project.
Requirements
- 3 years of prior treasury sales experience
- Product and financial acumen
- Proven track record of leading complex projects from inception through completion, driving alignment across diverse stakeholders and delivering results within established deadlines and budgets.
- Ability to interact with and influence people internally and externally by expert use of verbal and written communication and through strong presentation skills
- Ability to read and leverage data to proactively identify trends and opportunities
- Strong ability to organize, prioritize and balance multiple sales activities
- A deep understanding of bank structure and the operational aspects of global cash management products and services
- Understanding of and adherence to risk guidelines to proficiently identify, manage and escalate risk to grow the business responsibly
